Things to remember if you go:
- Sunscreen – this is the desert…… I am somewhat toasty after a couple of hours there
- Must try Strawberry Smoothie from the Pony Espresso Coffee Shop
- Swap Meet is on Arizona time (Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings Time)
There was some cool stuff at the meet and I managed to get several good deals on needed boat accessories. If the community support is there, the swap meet with run from 8 to 2 every Saturday through the summer.
As a side note: One of the best parts about events like this is the people. It was awesome to visit with old friends I’ve not chatted with in years, catch up, talk about the future and meet new friends.
