If you are going to be in the Lake Powell area over the long 4th of July weekend plan on spending some time in Page, AZ, and be sure to catch the fireworks program in the evening.
Activities start with the parade line up at 8:45 a.m. (AZ time)
Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. starting at Page City Park going down Lake Powell Blvd. and ending at North Navajo.
Page City Park is the place to be with activities going on all day. There will be the flag raising, the national anthem, and then address by Mayor Diak.
During the day watermelon eating contests, three legged races, Pet “Wet T-Shirt Contest”, as well as the fishing pond will be going on. Also the always fun Water Cannon.
There will be hotdogs, Navajo Tacos, cotton candy and much more food available throughout the day.
The Page Antique Tractor and Machinery Club’s 2nd annual Fourth of July Tractor Pull starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 4:30 p.m. at Big Lake Trading Post.
Fireworks begin at the Lake Powell National Golf Course at 8:45 p.m. and are always exciting.
