The new mass call notification system for Kane County Utah which includes the Lake Powell communities of Big Water, Church Wells, Clark Bench and Paria, is up and running.

Notification from Sgt. Alan Alldredge regarding Kane County, UT mass notification system. Kane County includes the south shore Lake Powell area communities of Big Water, Church Wells, Clark Bench, and Paria.

Our new mass call notification system is up and running. Now comes the hard part, getting the word out We will use our 911 data from the phone company to enter landlines, but it is more important that everybody in Kane County and Fredonia to go online and enter their contact information.

Go to the county website www.kane.utah.gov and look for the Everbridge logo at the bottom and click on it.

Fill out your info and you are then in the system. Get your family members who live outside the county to do the same, but use your addresses and then they will be notified when something happens here that affects you.

Please forward this to every Kane County and Fredonia person you know. I need this to go “viral” among the local population. The more people we get signed up, the stronger this system is for us. For those of you who are head of an organization like a fire department, or EMTs, make a push among your members, and in the next few weeks, we will get together for a training and you can start using the system to notify your own people.
